How it works

Electric Larry is designed to reduce anxiety and prevent expensive guesswork. You’ll get a clear assessment, and a plan that puts safety first.

BEFORE THE CALL

  • We’ll meet on Google Meet. Have your phone charged and a flashlight handy.

  • Know where your panel and the affected area are.

  • If you have photos or short video clips, keep them ready.

    What not to do

    • Don’t open your electrical panel if you’re not comfortable.

    • Don’t remove device covers if there’s heat, smell, or buzzing.

    • Don’t keep “testing” something that’s tripping repeatedly.

DURING THE CALL

  • FaceTime walkthrough: you point the camera, Larry guides.

  • Safety-first approach: if it’s unsafe, you’ll be told to stop.

  • You’ll get clear next steps—DIY-safe checks only, or escalation.

AFTER THE CALL

  • Written summary of what you saw + what it likely means.

  • Clear next steps: what to do next, what to avoid, what to ask for.

  • Referral if needed: guidance for hiring a local electrician.

If it’s unsafe: You’ll hear it plainly: “Stop. This needs an in-person electrician.” That’s the point—protect you, your home, and your time.
